KNOXVILLE, TN: If you have been around FOCUS for the last few years you have likely already met Mrs. Tonya Chandler. She began volunteering in our Behind the Walls Program in 2018. Her heart for seeing the ministry grow stronger was noticed and she became the BTW Program Manager in January 2023. Since then, Mrs. Tonya has worn many hats to serve FOCUS, including Partner Engagement and the Reentry Program. We are excited to formally announce her as the new Executive Director of FOCUS Ministries.

Our ministry has been through many ups and downs over the years, and we believe that God works all things for the good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

FOCUS Ministries loves the Lord and is called to provide hope to incarcerated and newly released women, and Mrs. Tonya is eager to continue the direction of our ministry to fulfill that call.
