Anne Wallace is an East Tennessee native. She and her husband, J.D., have been married more than 20 years and are members at Park West Church on Middlebrook Pike. Anne serves on the Prayer Team at Park West and attends and serves with Rooted Oaks Women's ministry.
It was at Rooted Oaks that Anne was introduced to Focus Ministries where in 2022 she was asked to help deliver Christmas presents to the ladies at the Hope House and Freedom House. In 2023, she started serving Behind the Walls with her dear friend, Socorro Islas Barajas (Ms. Coco). Anne has been blessed by the honesty of these women and how Jesus is faithful to remind all of us that we "are new creations in Christ Jesus" (2 Cor. 5:17). One of Anne's favorite verses is Hebrews 11:6, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he (God) exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him". She has seen this to be true in the lives of many of the ladies she's served Behind the Walls.
Anne was honored to be asked to serve on the Board of Focus Ministries in 2024. Professionally, Anne has worked in landscape architecture, urban design, planning and project management for both the private and public sectors. She is currently serving as a Program Manager with a consulting firm supporting a Federal Agency. She has served on the United Way Income and Investment Committee, the Downtown Design Review Board, the Board of the Community Reuse Organization of East Tennessee and the Dow Community Action Panel. She is looking forward to supporting Focus Ministries in this season.

He began serving as a volunteer at Morgan County Correctional Complex that year and as a member of Focus’ Board of Directors. He has served three terms as Focus’ Chairman. He currently leads Bible Study Fellowship classes on Morgan County’s main compound and protective custody unit and leads a worship group in medium security.
